Why is skinning so (apparently) difficult? (1 Viewer)

Ok... I'm just a newbie, but why is skinning apparently so difficult requiring coding etc? Surely each graphical element has a prefined position and size. Doesn't that imply that graphics should be easily replacable to create a new skin really easily? Hmmm.... scratching my head....

After one weekend of spending some time on this - you will agree with your comment that it indeed is not that bad. An editor was in the works - but the engine has been changing on the skinning side. What may seem as "difficult" is actually power.... U can take any skin u want and change the grpahics if u care to - /media folder - but that is not creativity.

Spend some time - focus on a few pages, and you will see the associated XML files which is not as GUI as some would like are loaded with power to tweak so many elements that make MP the powerhouse it is....

Keep at it...
