Why is the feature "Timeshiftbuffer is added to a "Record now" recording" removed?? (1 Viewer)

I see that the feature "Timeshiftbuffer is added to a "Record now" recording" (needed to record tv that someone is watching, while timeshifted to the past) has been taken out of the tv server and will not come back?!

Why is that?? This was a great feature and I still need it quite often, I really miss it!
Can someone explain this to me?

It has been only available in TVE2, as it was provided by the SBE. It has newer been removed from the TVE3, but due some design choices its not the most easiest / risky thing to add.

Yes, what I ment was, why has it been taken out in TVE3 (compared to TVE2).

That's really a shame! I hope some of the programmers miss this as much as we do and takes on the challenge
I really hope it will come back some day...
