Why is the screen blank? (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have move over from using DVBViwer to Mediaportal and got almost everything that i like to have working for me, but there is just one this at the moment that i do not know what to do with.

As long as i watch TV or movies all works just fine. But when i go to bet or leave for work i just shut off the TV it self and the receiver not the HTPC that still is running Mediaportal. When i then turn on the TV & the receiver several hours later the Mediaportal is blank but can most off the time hear the sound but no picture.

But if i resize the mediaportal or change channel it starts up with picture and sound, but sometime i need to restart the Mediaportal before it starts to work again.

Is there anybody that have a clue what this can be? And i have no Screensaver in Vista activated.

Nothing set in MP config\general that may be doing this like blank screen when MP idle.

If it's not a setting, use MPTestTool from Start menu and repeat problem, then upload logs using go advanced + feature.

This also could be a driver related DirectX problem, just being caused by no tv output.

What are your Vista power settings, that may give a clue about above.
