Why Media Portal? Several questions? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, Just need some help. Looks like you have an awesome deal here but I have some questions?
-Is media portal kind of a Media center replacement but much better? I think the answer is yes?
-Can this be opened up when streaming to an xbox like regular media center and does the Xbox see it automatically?
-Can media portal identify CD changers so I can play the DVD;CDS on other extender type devices?
-Does media portal allow one to surf the internet?
-Does media portal work with Vista ultimate?
-I really appreciate any help here. I am sure these questions have been asked before.

i think so !! many more functions, plus constant updates.

-Does media portal allow one to surf the internet?

there are some plugins that will allow you to, but if u really want to surf the internet, i think u should use ie or Firefox, mp is not really meant for that.

-Does media portal work with Vista ultimate?

i absolutely think it does, seen peoples specs using ultimate with it. i use vista home premium
