Why MediaPortal is like Ferrari (1 Viewer)

Like the subject says. I used to own a 328 and i have never had a car which i hated and loved so much at the same time. Everyday I would struggle getting that car tuned and everytime i turned the key i clinched my teeth waiting to see what would break. MediaPortal brings backs those times, I love the slick interface and the vast community it has. Yet I hate the feeling of wondering what else is not going to work the next time i click the button on my remote. Am I going to lose my video? Maybe fullscreen mode will decide to freeze.?EPG going crazy? Still like the ferrari i find myself loving it but hoping one day it will reach the level of quality as a Honda.

Maybe you should consider giving the mechanics some detailed explanations (with logs). Maybe they can fix it.

True but very satisfying when solving the new problem.... Would never consider another HTPC software!!!!!!!!! When problem arises its time to get off the couch and stretch the brain cells - lucky me as I have my 2 PCs dedicated to Media Portal so when the same problem is on both then I know it is a MP problem and thus makes the solution easier to find..... Love it hate love it cant live without it!!!!
