That's great news pilehave! I promise you will be happier with the new wiki!

My comment was not meant to minimize the contributions many users did bravely make, rather it was meant to take some responsibility for hulkhaugen's comment about how out of date it was.

I've been poking around the new wiki, and I really think it is looking wonderful.

The setup is very similar to the one I use day to day at my office, so I'm pleased to see the structured tree navigation on the left side, the snappy performance and also the clean look and feel.

I created a login using my same forum username thinking that I would make a few edits here and there, but I understand from reading this thread that it won't be opened for a while yet (I hope the fact that I created a user won't mess anything up when you merge the authentication from the forum to the wiki). Again - great work to all that are working on the main website, and the wiki.

Thanks jadz, what you see now is about 20% of what we plan and hope to achieve.

Yes I saw you 'poking around' :p We don't have the vbulletin bridge/authentication working the way we want yet. It does not automatically add your email address or group permissions yet. Your current account should not mess anything up, but at some point you may have to register again.

I understand from reading this thread that it won't be opened for a while yet
Not exactly. For the beta test you can 'request' contributor status to participate in the test. I will be announcing that shortly. We don't want to open it up fully until we have a chance to check everything is working well. But we do want a few users who are willing to test all the features for editing, adding and updating content and give us feedback on the process to help us refine it before we go 'live'. Your name is on the list :p
