I was talking more of cosmetics and unless you have a very up to date system a lot of the advantages of windows 8 wouldn't make much or any difference. Sure I can't see any problems using XP its been tried and tested for years. But ofcourse no longer supported by ms or MP. I have tried both win 7 and 8 on my system but went back to windows 7.
