Win XP MCE SP2, geht das (1 Viewer)

Ich benutze Windows XP Media Center Edition mit SP2.
(Ich kann SP3 nicht installieren, wegen einer nicht gefundenen Datei während der Installation)
Ergeben sich für mich deshalb Nachteil hinsichtlich, des Betriebes von Mediaportal und codecs, wenn ich kein SP3 drauf habe?

Das SP3 ist zwingend nötig !

Da wirst nicht drum rum kommen dass das SP3 installiert sein muss.

Versuch doch mal nach der fehlenden Datei zu googeln, vielleicht findest Du sie ja.
Ansonsten würde ich eine Neuinstallation probieren!

So bin auf Win7 umgestiegen...läuft alles wesentlich besser...
