Sorry to resurrect this thread but I am having issues too since upgrading to Windows 10. When it first RTM'd back in July, I initially upgraded, but then had problems using surround sound - a long read through this thread here appeared to suggest that there was a known bug in Windows 10: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_devices/windows-10-tp-build-10041-10240-rtm-audiosound/f1bf8029-e6f0-4eaf-9645-d041dbdf8b5b A fix was apparently included in the last Fast Ring build which should have made it into the latest November/TH2 update released last week so I decided to try an in place upgrade again. Unfortunately though, I am still having an intermittent issue using MPAR and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I have attached the logs - the first two videos I tried playing played with no sound at all, but then I tried a film and it worked fine and then proceeded to close MediaPortal. It seems hit and miss as to whether things will actually play or not. Windows 8.1 works absolutely flawlessly so I am not sure whether this is the above "bug" that is still causing these issues. Many Thanks.
