MediaPortal Version: 1.3.0

Description
I did:
- "clean" deinstall Mediaportal 1.2.2
- install Mediaportal 1.3.0
Mediaportal config is possible, but when then trying to start Mediaportal, it crashes without notification.
When starting in debug mode, the Mediaportal.log 's last entry shows:
2013-05-25 10:51:08.153878 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Loading localized Strings - Path: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Language Culture: de Language: German Prefix: False
2013-05-25 10:51:08.160878 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Loading strings file: strings_de.xml
2013-05-25 10:51:08.390891 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Loading strings file: strings_en.xml
Has anyone got any idea what to check?
The problem seems to be insensitive to:
- Deinstall / reinstall
- Chosen skin
- Chosen language
- Activated or deactivated plugins
Many thanks,
Chris

Steps to Reproduce:
At my computer - happens every time. Seems to be specific to this computer, as I have also got another one running without problems on Windows 7 / 64 (but that was a fresh installed one).

    Hi and welcome Chris TK,

Please compare this directory: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Language with the same directory on the working client.

    Hi, HomeY,
    - the directory contents are identical.
    - but, in the working version, the startup log shows in addition:
2013-05-25 16:19:02.440137 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Loading localized Strings - Path: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Language Culture: de Language: German Prefix: False
    2013-05-25 16:19:02.447138 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Loading strings file: strings_de.xml
    2013-05-25 16:19:02.564145 [Debug][MPMain(1)]: ExtendedChars = False:False, StringChars = 0
    2013-05-25 16:19:02.565145 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Loading strings file: strings_en.xml
    2013-05-25 16:19:02.569145 [Debug][MPMain(1)]: ExtendedChars = False:False, StringChars = 0
Any clue what to check next? Some configuration entries which might be wrong?
    Thanks,
    Chris

That's just some extra Debug log lines. Not really sure what's going on, although i expect that something went wrong during install.
I would suggest to re-install the MediaPortal client.

    Do you have .NET installed?

Also try disabling the Bonjour Service and see if that helps.

It seems that your have bad upgrade of .NET.
Can you try to uninstall all .NET related and run windows update ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I checked my environment - it seems that MediaPortal and AirParrot don't gracefully coexist. I have disabled Airparrot. Now Mediaportal comes up all right. I still have to verify that in the intended context, as TV client, it works, but the root cause could likely be that Airparrot hooks onto the Mediaportal output, and this does not work together.
Thanks for the further hints, though!

    - I'll tomorrow check out which of the two is the culprit, and will post a hint that problems have to be expected in this constellation.

    Chris.

    - Airfoil it is - it seems that airfoil and MediaPortal do not work together.
    - Airparrot is ok.
