    Hi there,

I would have thought Windows 7 should try and connect to the Internet and download the required driver (if it correctly identifies the device).

I dont think I have ever seen an installer for an eHome/MCE receiver (for W7x64)

AW: Windows 7 eHome infrared transceiver driver not installed

    Hi!

The drivers for an eHome ir-receiver are also integrated in Windows 7 64bit (via Windows Update).
    No additional drivers are needed.

From time to time the 64bit Version has a small problem at the first driver installation.
If that happen, you can find only one eHome-entry in the device manager.
You have to delete this entry and after that let Windows search again for new hardware (also in the device manager).
After that, all 5 entries are present and the receiver works well.

    Best regards,
