Windows 8.1 .NET Error install (1 Viewer)

This is a new install of Windows 8.1 (6.3 9600), with Update 1;

Unable to actually install Mediaportal, either 1.6 or 1.7preview (no directorys installed, no logs)

Obviously If I try to install .NET, Windows complains I already have the latest installed.

Is there anyway to bypass the .NET check during install?

Fixed it, Just enabled 3.5 in Program and Features (which is disabled by default)
