Windows Media Center Error (1 Viewer)

After installing
.net
Windows installer 3.1
etc

I then try to power up MediaPortal which immediately tells me that it needs window media center 9, however I have media center 10.1 installed on my system and the mediaportal docs say 9 and above will work without problem.

Anyone any ideas as to why it is locating a version below 9

Thanks

    Hi,

    Please fill in the support template when posting in one of the forum support sections. Please verify the existence of the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{22d6f312-b0f6-11d0-94ab-0080c74c7e95}

    If it does not exist then there must be something wrong with your setup. If it does exist, please post your mediaportal.log file @ http://mp.pastebin.com and post a link back here.

    Kind regards,
    Michel
