My employer is searching for someone with experience in programming multimedia-applications for windows and x86. Knowledge of COM programming, DirectX/DirectShow/DirectSound APIs, experienced C/C++ user, understanding how to use media peripherals such a sound and image devices is beneficial. All in all, someone that knows and has contributed considerably to mediaportal would likely be a strong candidate.
Hands-on experience and the right attitude will be more important than formal specifications. Relocation is necessary.
