the final and feature-complete version of this plugin was published, I'll close the main development cycle now.
Skin changes are not required, thanks to all contributors and skinners to achieve this milestone.

a small update has published today, this (can) fix long startup times or black screens during the MediaPortal startup phase (see discussion here).
Please read the chapter 4.1 of included manual for appropriate configuration options.

thanks for the new version, but it doesn't solve the problem..

I can it the timer to one minute, but with that setting the black screen appears after one minute if you are still in the basichome screen..

the provided fix was my last idea to solve or minimize this problem. It was tested with my personal skin, Default and PureVision - this problem isn't reproducable in anyway. Sorry, in this case I cannot help more. Maybe there are network related issues or background processes of StreamedMP, which cause this problem.

Skin files for default 4:3 skin are missing or invalid. I can only see menus text but background and buttons aren't there....

after a longer period I want to publish the maintenance release v1.0.2 of this plugin. You can download the new version from our plugin repository or from first post of this thread. This contains a new functionality and stability fixes.

Informations for users:

• update filter functionality added
• new property #UpdateControl.Filter added

Informations for skinners:

• Toggle button "Filter updates" (ID 8) added

Hint: this plugin can produce long label text, if you see any display issues (e.g. screen flickering, missing labels) please follow the instructions from thisthread.

Hi powermarcel, did you read first post carefully? The actual version IS compatible with 1.3.x
