Vista won't let me have two different EPG's combined (HD OTA is considered apart of the satellite EPG.) I have successfully installed and configured the IR suite plugin, which should enable media portal to control my STB, changing channels and what not. I haven't been able to find much information on how to get MP to actually do this however, only in the plugin configuration have I gotten this to work correctly. I have the EPG downloading via zap2xml, but the tvguide.xml file is 75 mb large, and when I try to import the channel list into the configuration program, the program takes up about 700mb of ram and runs the processor at 50% for 5 minutes before it all gets sorted. 1. Why is this so slow? 2. How do i get MP to change the channel on the STB when i navigate around the EPG inside of MP? Thanks for your help. [/QUOTE]
