windows xp & mce remote (1 Viewer)

hello all,

first & foremost, happy holidays.

i recently upgraded from vista to xp (yes upgrade! ) and re-installed MP & TVServer with the latest SVN version.
Now the problem is configuring the MCE Remote to use with MP.
The remote works fine & can control MP. Using the MP Replacement plugin I am able to control it without having focus on MP but the problem is that it also control whatever window i have focus on

when i was in vista this was never the problem. any ideas?

You could look at preventing windows from acting on button presses. In the past you would do this by using the replacement driver but now you just need to modify some registry settings.

Check out the post linked in my signature about the mce replacement driver being obsolete.

You could also look at upgrading to IR Server Suite to control your whole PC (but how you want).
