My question has to do with Windows MCE, but I'm hoping someone can help..since I'm using Media Portal in conjunction. I recently had to do a fresh install of the OS, and now every time I reboot the computer, I have to log in to the network drive that contains my movies BEFORE I can load Media Portal. I never had to do this before. When I mapped the drives after the fresh OS install, I was sure to click on the 'reconnect at login' and did it the usual way. Does anyone know why this happens? It sucks because I used to have it so that the computer loaded MP on boot, but now I have to remove that feature and manually login to the network drives before I can load MP and start watching movies/tv series.
My friend has the same issue with Windows MCE and cannot figure it out either.

This will greatly improve my MP experience if I can get it back to working like it used to.

Any help?

Thanks!

Where are the shares being mapped from? If it is another windows PC, having the same log in details on each machine will sort this out (for example all my windows boxes have the same Administrator account with the same password so the windows networking assumes it is the same user and effectively auto logs in).
