Windows XP vs Vista (1 Viewer)

Witch OS works best with Mediaportal?
Currently I'm using Windows XP pro sp3.
Everything works fine except the ATI 690G/x1250 problems .
If I switch to vista this problem will be gone but aren't there other issues with Vista and Mediaportal? Performance?

Can somebody advise me?

My Hardware should have no problems with vista:
Hauppage PVR-500
Asus M2A-VM Hdmi (onboard video Ati 690G chipset - > Ati x1250)
AMD BE-2350 x2
2 gb ddr2-800 ram
2 x 300gb seagate sata2 disks

If you did switch to Vista, can recommend doing this from the very start.

Make your Vista's admin account acts like in XP - Neowin Forums

Otherwise have had various issues running a normal admin account, which stopped me getting MP to work successfully.
