Winfast 2000XP Expert and exception during maximize (1 Viewer)

Hi,

MP 02.RC2 throws exception when I try to maximize the window. I have software capture card Leadtek Winfast 2000XP Expert. Can someone help me, because timeshifting is not working also.

Not sure about your exception there but timeshifting doesnt work on software cards.

If your TV card is indeed an analog card without hardware MPEG2 encoder onboard then timeshifting indeed isn't gonna work. AFAIK support for those "software" based is removed in future versions of MP. If you're on Windows 2000 and do have a hardware MPEG2 based capture card, then please look at this: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/dokuw/howto/win2000 .

Thanks for the answer, but it is not satifying for me. Do I always have to remember that I need to stop TV before changing window size? Maybe it is possible to add option and pogram will do it automatically?
Why on the page with supported software cards there is info, that this card supports timeshifting?

It would be nice if someone finds a fix for the exception, but as long as it's not fixed this is the best workaround. You can also choose to always run MP in fullscreen.

Your card - Winfast TV2000 XP Expert - is very different from the one listed on the supported card list - WinFast PVR2000. The "Expert" card is a capture card without a hardware MPEG2 encoder, the "PVR" type card does have this. That's why timeshifting is not supported, and AFAIK your card won't be supported at all in future releases.
