Synopsis::

no autotune option in media portal setup.
On running mediaportal I get error: Failed to start timeshifting
On setup, click on add/remove or edit on tuner card and get error "unable to create graph for this device"

I'm not sure if it is possible to manually add channels or even if my card definitions are correct. I had to get the CVS version to get it to recognise the card.

CaptureCardDefinitions.xml:
Code:
</capturecard>
<capturecard commercialname="Leadtek WinFast DTV Dongle" capturename="WinFast DTV Dongle BDA Driver" devid="vid_0413&pid_6026">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider"	checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="tunerdevice"     name="WinFast DTV Dongle BDA Driver"		checkdevice="true"/>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>

The device works ok on other software, autotuning aswell as EPG support.

Looking at graphedit it seems the card should be working ok.

Try RC3 if it still does not work edit the
Code:
devid="vid_0413&pid_6026"
to read
Code:
devid="vid_0413&pid_6026&mi_00"
in the definitions file - see if that fixes it for you.

If so let me know.

I changed the device as suggested and the errors from before are gone, autotune is there.

When I click autotune I get "this device does not support auto tuning".
If I select autotune again and select "UK - All regions" there is a "unhandled exeption" error which comes up but you can click continue and it goes onto the autotune dialog, altho nothing in it works :)

I guess I just need to add the channels manually somehow. Is there any way of getting the frequencies etc from than and adding them manuallly? possibly through another program which supports the dongle and autotunes it?
I have it working on media center (ended up installing it since the winfast app kept crashing :( ), I was thinking maybe it would be possible to transfer/get the channel settings :? .
