Let me start by saying that I have been using MP for about 1yr and love it. All my media is stored on the computer on the loft with about 2 terabits of disk storage and my WIFE LOVES IT TOO.

My problem is in trying to add my WinFast tuner to the TV section of MP. I have the latest drivers downloaded and installed. I have searched the forum and at my age and no formal computer training most of the GEEK is Greek to me. I have tried understand GraphEdit Add TVCard to natively supported list - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation and don't want to sign up for MIT college courses to add the TV function to MP. I can get MP to scan and find the stations, but when I try running MP I get the dreaded "unable to create graph"

Is their a tuner card that is Plug n Play to MP or are all the supported cards going to pose the same problems?

I also love the rich and robust look and feel of the Mayhem skin but have a problem in that it won't show my Internet radio (shoutcast) where the std blue screen does.

Help is graciously accepted and hope to have it all running before I retire.

Could you please give a link to the card you are trying to use?

Also, I take it that you are using RC1?

Btw: Log files are very useful for the experts around here, so:
Start -> My Programs -> > MediaPortal -> MP logscollector (or MPTestTool - depends):

Ah ... these Leadtek-cards are so confusing (many models) but I am quite sure that the one you are referring to does not have a hardware encoder (see: Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Expert not been recognized - GB-PVR Forums ). This makes things a lot more complicated, as MP only has limited support for software encoding cards

    My advice would be:
    - Get a decent HW-encoding card. The card you have now will chew up tour CPU, anyway (min. 2.4 GHz recommended)
    or
    - Wait for DMAN or other gurus to help you on this, while reading threads like this: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/support-97/problem-leadtek-winfast-tv2000-expert-20395/

    :sorry:

Btw: Are you using TVE2 or TVServer?

Thanks for your responce I will look in to a Hauppauge noboard encoder card.

    I have a eMachine with
OS : Windows XP Pro with SP2
    Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6100
    Motherboard: Gateway T6532 100
Processor: 2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
    Memory: 1 GB
TV Card: Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Expert

2 other computers a Shuttle x and a gateway are running MP and share the two 1 terabits WD usb drives and also a DSM320 media appliance from TVersity just fine.
