WinTV PVR-150 IR Blaster - help needed (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm new to Media Portal and am having trouble with the IR Blaster configuration.

I am running a Hauppauge PVR-150 MCE Kit on an XP-SP2 platform.

The Windows MC Remote supplied with the PVR runs fine.

However, I cannot get the IR Blaster portion to work.
The Hauppauge BlastCFG utility reports "NO IR Hardware found" and there isn't an obvious way to configure this piece of kit from within MP.

I understand that the PVR-150 MCE Kit is designed for use under Windows Media Centre - But Media Portal's hardware charts list it as compatable.

I've tried scanning the fora for any pointers with no luck.
Can anyone offer any advice or point me at a "How To..." Guide?

I think there are different drivers fo that type of receiver/blaster in the MCE kit. I have the non-MCE version and I use the Blastcfg app to configure mine (though not for Media portal yet). Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Try these:

Dunno if this will get it working the Media Portal or not.

Also check the downloads section there are MCE remote drivers there as well.
