The only thing that is bugging me at the moment (not a MediaPortal thing, but probably an OS/driver issue) is the lost connection on the wireless adapter when the system resumes from S3 sleep mode. I was hoping that Vista SP2 would help with this issue (many people have had problems with disconnected wireless after resuming, and Vista SP2 was supposed to contain fixes to several sleep/resume problems), but unfortunately it hasn't helped in my case. I have a Netgear Rangemax WNR834B v2 router on my main PC (connected to the internet via cable modem) and a USB WN111 wireless adapter connected to the HTPC. The Netgear site mentions that they 'work with Vista', but I am beginning to think that what I have isn't a good choice when using sleep mode. The wireless connection works very well after a reboot, but once the HTPC goes to sleep it won't reconnect to the network after resuming. What I'd like to know from the people here: do you have a wireless network adapter that DOES work (successfully reconnect) after resuming from sleep? If so, what brand and did you need to change any registry settings? The other option might be to do something similar to the TV service PowerScheduler plugin, where an option to restart the TV service on resume is currently available. Could a similar 'reset upon resume' option be implemented for wireless network adapters? I have been searching for a while now for a script to do this (which I could then add to the TV setup section after setting 'restart service after resume'). I haven't had any success with finding a suitable script though :( I haven't added logs here as I don't think they'd be of use, being more likely an OS/driver issue. I can add some if required. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. MLH01 [/QUOTE]
