Wireless remote controller (1 Viewer)

I was looking for a wireless remote controller.
I mean, I've an IPAQ, with Wi-Fi and i want to control MP remotely, using it.
(but not aligning the IRDA).
Does someone developed something in that sense?

Or if not, provided I build something like it, how can I send the command from a plugin to the MP?

One way is to use the web service in the webinterface plugin... Otherwise you can make a UDP/TCP client/server plugin, with a MP plugin that translates the requests into MP commands.

and, also, it uses IR... Wi-Fi is there, but don't understand well how it can be integrated with MP.

the fact that you use mediaportal means that every other program should be free as well? It's well worth it's money imho
(but mainly the netremote/jrmc integration)

forgot to say but I'm using Girder for that. Payware too ;-)

Forgot about netremote. I think it works by sending keystrokes to MP on the MP computer when it receives signals from the 'remote' device, e.g. PocketPC. Not sure about two-way communication - I've never used netremote before.
