This is in Windows 7 64bit with an HD-PVR.
I can manually run IRBlast.exe with say "-channel 692" (SCIFIHD) and it will change my STB correctly every time however when Media Center sends it's request to change the channel it sends channel 71 instead of 692, not even close. This happens for a number of channels (different channel sent) but some of them are fine, such as 695 (USAHD).
I made the jump from DVBLink for my HD-PVR to the native WMC drivers on 3/15/11 and when I tested things back then everything was fine and I haven't change anything since then so I suspect a Media Center update may have goofed something up - I can tell based on some saved recordings that 692 did record properly for at least a few weeks after I made the switch. I have intentionally NOT installed any Windows updates since 3/15 including SP1.
Is there any secret place in media center where alternative channels numbers or something are stored that could explain why it is sending the wrong one? I used GuideTool to double check channels/numbers and as far as I can tell everything should be working, no idea why is is sending the wrong channel.
