WMVideo Decoder DMO (.avi file wont play) (1 Viewer)

I have a HD .avi file (IMAX - Speed) which will not play in MP in Vista.
I have use Graphedit to determine that it uses WMVideo Decoder DMO.
This file will play in WMP and will play in MP on another PC of mine which uses XP Pro SP2 but not in my HTPC, which is Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
Any ideas?

Okay, problem solved.
In case any one else has the same issue, I used a program called AVI Mux and changed from .avi to .mkv
MP now plays the file (Graphedit still shows the same decoders in use).
