I have one of these.

Its an HID device. They are a REAL PAIN TO SET UP w MP!!!

Look for a proper MCE remote, if u can. Anything that emulates a Phillips or a Toshiba MCE remote is fine. As long as it registers as an 'ehome' device, its a one-click installation. Anything generic like this, thats an HID is a royal pain in the butt (in my experience) to get working.
