Just bougth myself a X-Fi Titanium with ASIO 2; to get rid of the onboard Realtek
With some hours of figgeling with settings, i've got bit-perfect DTS streaming yay!
Just set the X-Fi Titanium into Audio-Creation modus (Game mode & Music/Movie mode only support asio-2ch.), setup the amount of speakers and under settings set to bit-perfect; so all X-Fi extra's are disabled.

Well worth spent ~€ 70,--
p.s. running under XP PRO SP3
