I use MP 0.2.3.0 and everything works well, except mkv x264 with aac audio track.
The screen turns black and there's no picture and no sound. In Windows Media Player the file plays OK.
in error log:
2008-08-17 00:16:16.890625 [Info.][MPMain]: VideoPlayerVMR9: Exception while cleanuping DShow graph - Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(Object o) at MediaPortal.Player.VideoPlayerVMR9.Cleanup()
Any suggestions?
EDIT: problem is not in AAC track. I've tried AC3 track and still no picture and sound. Problem is in srt subtitles and it's quite strange, because if I try the same subtitle file with another video, it works, and in WMP all this works.
EDIT2: VSFilter upgrade (directvobsub) from 2.21 to 2.27 solved the problem
