[Configuration] x64 does not save setting for standard/advance mode (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.1.0 Alpha
Windows Version: Vista x64 Pro SP2


when i start Configuration the little window that asks about standard or advanced mode does not save what i select with the "Do not ask again selected."

a friend of My tried this on win7 x64 and got the same thing...

Try with Vista x64 SP1

thats not a solution thats a workaround.

_IF_ it would work... i cant test it with sp1.

Hi,
Logs which is required in this part of forum will tell whats wrong if it can't save, Vista X64 SP2 works without problems here.

i figured it out....

i did selected swedish at the installation and in the logfile there was a lot of errors that there was missing strings in "strings_sv.xml" (swedish) and when i changed it to english the "mode box" does not nag about it any more it seems like there is a error in the language part in startup of "Configuration.exe"

i changed it back to Swedish.... but i dident get that errror... damn...

i actually thought it was that simple error....
