Hi guys,

I have just purchased a Digitech WMC Remote Control from Jaycar electronics (XC-4889) which is a plug and play device. All functions work fine with Vista MC but when using XP with media portal most of the buttons do not work. Have tried most of the plugins and drivers for remotes but these dont seem to work.
Has anyone else had any luck getting this device going? Jaycar Electronics

Did you end up getting your remote to work?

I have the same remote and all that seems to work is up, down, left, right, ok and a couple others.

It says it doesn't need any drivers etc so you would think it would work as a genuine MCE remote.

nope

Sorry mate, didn't have any luck (like you only the basic buttons work on XP). Tried a few different remote plugin's but no good. Ended up using the remote on Vista MC where all buttons work ok.
