I'm running the latest version of media portal along with the newest xface skin and was wondering if anyone wanted to help me tweak it out some.
I want to remove the 'my tv' from the main page. I have it deleted in the .xml files wherever I could find it (in the skins directory) and it doesn't show up as a image when I launch media portal, but i still see 'My TV' when I cycle through the icons using my keyboard/arrow keys. If I click on it, nothing happens.. so I think I just missed where it's labeled somewhere. That's assigned in the cfg application correct? I can change that name to anything. Can I remove it all together?
I just use my media pc for videos/photos and music. I'm not doing any TV capture or TV tuning with this box.
As soon as I get it finished I'll post pics and some specs. I used a ZALMAN HD160XT case with built-in 7" lcd, quad-core processor, 512MB 1080p out video, 3 GB ddr2 ram, 5 TB of hard drive space, logitech mx air mouse, remote, all the fans are ultra quiet and all of them are software tweakable, etc.. it's pretty slick. I'm using it with my 92" 1080i hd projector and greywolf ii screen and the image looks amazing.
I've been telling all my friends about media portal, I think it's great!
