XMLTV Plugin (1 Viewer)

All,

I am running 1.1.0.0 with XMLTV plugin, with XMLTV GUI, grabbing from Digiguide.

It works fine

Quick question, I have just editted my channel numbers on TV Server (to get them to match Sky)

When I go into the XMLTV plugin, the IDs for the channels are still the old channel number (I assume the Id is the channel number)

Do I have to manually go through each channel in XMLTV plugin and update it to match the new channel number in TV Server?

Basically, what does XMLTV use to identify the channel within MP (Channel number/ID or channel name)?

Channel IDs are internal unique numbers entirely different from channel numbers. They cannot be changed. Xmltv uses these numbers, and your mappings will still be correct after you change the channel numbers.

I eventually figured you can not edit the ID's and then successfully save the mappings - it wont let you.
