I'm adding this post because I'm not sure the other post (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/no-fullscreen-visualization-playing-66236/) conforms to the requirements for launching a support thread.

    Problem:
    - In MP 1.0.2, all XMPlay visualizations produce a black screen when viewed in fullscreen.

    Observations:
    - Everything worked in MP 1.0.1
    - XMPlay visualizations work fine when not in fullscreen
    - Both WMP (Alchemy) and Winamp (Milkdrop, R4) visualizations work fine in fullscreen
    - Main MP log indicates no problems (full logs attached)

    Tried:
    - Updating Windows and all drivers to latest version - same result
    - A bunch of visualizations (Cor's Aorta, Cor's Tornado, Rabbit Hole, Starlight Aurora, and others) - same result
    - Both StreamedMP and Blue3wide skins - same result
    - MP in both fullscreen and windowed mode - same result

    Workaround for now:
    - Use a Winamp Sonique visualization wrapper plug-in:
    - Sonique Visual Plug-in Wrapper 2 - Customize Winamp Media Player - quality is poor on 1080p
    - Synesthesia v11a - Customize Winamp Media Player - fixed resolution which means that when not fullscreen looks rather ugly
    - both lack the ability to show the name when the song changes

I have some basic coding skills so if somebody tells me more or less where to look, I can try to fix this myself.

    Thanks for any support.

didn't know that XMPlay has it's own Vis format. I thought it plays Somique Vi.

i hav Cor's Aorta and Starlight Aurora myself. The Sonique ones and the play fine in Fullscreen.
What is different in the XMPlay versions of them?

Your log shows that it is treated as a Sonique Vis.
xould you please upload on such vis, so that i can give it a try

XMplay visualizations are the same as Sonique, indeed. I refer to XMPlay because I download them from the XMPlay site. You can try Rabbit hole from here:
    XMPlay Support

This is 100% Sonique and also works with the Sonique wrapper for Winamp I mentioned above.

Can you share your logs in case you get it to work full-screen. Then I will try to hunt this thing down.

i have it working in full screen and there's nothing in the log regarding a Sonique vis.
the only line you see in the code is that BASS is switching to full screen. nothing else.

All sonique Vis work for me, including the Rabbit Hole, i've just downloaded from the link you provided.
no clue, why it doesn't work for you.

    Hi hwahrmann,

Thank you. At least this tells me that this might a problem with my setup. I will probably reinstall MP and hope it to work.

    Regards.
