I have been having issues with scanning tv tuners in Mediaportal 1.02 and 1.10 (I have tried both).
I live in New Zealand and I am scanning the optus D1 satellite.
I have configured cards using many different programs and all work fine except mediaportal it seems.
The cards are: Hauppauge HVR-4000 and Tevii s470.
In windows 7 in either mediaportal or MCE both cards scan fine with the settings I am using. In XP(32bit) the Tevii scans but finds nothing at all and I have to change from universal to Circular to get any channels with the HVR-4000. In Win7 the same scan finds all channels in tevii and HVR-4000 using mediaportal.
I have tried other software in XP, namely DVBViewer and the tevii program and they pick up channels easily.
So has anyone had problems scanning with these cards in Mediaportal and XP? Or just problems in general with either of these cards?
