The compression process from DVR-MS to XviD freezes MP, even though its set to min priority? It takes forever, but has completed a 20min show in a few hours.

Any way of getting the rest of MP to work properly while compressing?

I'm shocked you even got the DVR-MS to XVID compression function to work! There's been a number of posts about it in General Support but I think it's all a moot point until the new tv engine comes out.

Yeah, it wasnt that hard, just installed the Elecard codec, then got an error about MPA audio codec, so re-installed that and it worked

I will have to wait for the new tv engine then.
