Hi,

I doesn´t work. I´ve the same Problem with my other HTPC with an AT3IONT-I board and Win7 installed.
Same Error message and no chance to uninstall.

Should i try to delete all files by hand ?

sure try that first + i know dukus checking the exstansoin plugin code to see what can make the problem ... ?
he will find .. i'm sure he know the 2 plugin very well ...
rally srange over 2800 download for youtube.fm ... was expected to hear more users with your problem ... ?

Just wanted to add in, that I had this same issue on both of my clients with the last update, and one of my clients for this update. So, it's not a once-time issue My fix before was to FULLY UNINSTALL MediaPortal... but I can't do that this time around.. lol. I haven't tried to upgrade on my living room PC, as I can't take the risk of breaking things this weekend.

The issue is when it performs the "uninstall". Could someone document the uninstall steps, so we can bypass this in the future? Or, what needs to be removed so it doesn't detect that Youtube.FM plugin has been installed previously.

I investigate the error, and how i see the problem come from mpe installer.

For quick fix copy the attached zip contents in "c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal" this should be fix the error but need more time to investigate the cause of the error.

I've Managed to "uninstall" Youtube.fm.

I deleted the installation/uninstall Information in the Programm Data / Team Mediaportal Folder.
After that the installier was able to Install the New Version of Youtube.fm...

It seems to work so far...

But i'll try your fix in the Other HTPC and report the Results....

I mean the Information View that I can select in the contectmenu that I can open with F9. It seems to open a new window but I can't see the Information View. You see only the normal Video. I thinki that a new window is open because I must push the back Button two times, if I want leave the FDullscreen Video.

It happens with Default Skin and the StreamedMP Skin. IN the other possible cases the Information View works fine.

I have done a new install of Youtube.FM Plugin but without a uninstall. It wasn't the solution.

Hi IchBinsShort , i'm not sure i got your problem ? can youpost some screensots (click F11) please make a few if need ... as F9 work for me o.k with DW skin .
if i got your problem corect ....you means if you click F9 button (witch bring the contxect menu ) and with this menu you select Info option ? and you get defrent window ? ..... like i said ..i use same version as you and with work fine her ... please post some screenshots so i can see ...

OK here are the Screenshots. It was taken with streamedMp but this happens with the default to.

Hi, well i can tell you you have mix skin file's you have StreamedMP skin file + DefaultWide skin file mix together ... i see in SMP tread you install a mod , i think some xml file are mix together some how .... ( ho just some info for you i work on update mod for streamedmp skin , i have most things working ,just i'm little sick and tack me longer time to finishit, in a day or 2 i will post in SMP tread the new mod..)
1. i add screenshots from DW skin ,to show you all work fine .
2. only thing i can sejust ,is to delet all youtube.fm skin file's first from DW skin (in skin folder all youtube.... xml ) then install youtube.fm MPE1 ,again and try first with DW skin .... then SMP youtube.fm skin's file's i all must sure they not corect .
3. please let me know if the DW (after reinstall youtube.fm again) work o.k
