@burr All is working perfectly here (in DefaultWide and in aMPed) - including backdrops using #yrWeather.weatherCodeNo - thank you so much!!!

The properties are only for the default location today, i can make properties also for the current location?

Hi Burr , o.k finish with Default's skin for last beta version (1 post up) ... see screnshots....

Note: i add yr.no logo (to mack little defrent then others weather plugin) + i add 2 static lable "Time" & " Condition" to Forecast by hour only.(they will need new id )

I implamented yrweather in basichome & my home screen ....

Verry importent for when you make the MPE1 file , you have to add only logo+plugin skin xml , do not add the basichome and my home xml ...this file better to make as zip/rar file in first post as users need to pick wich plugin they wont to use in basichome ,if they wont to use yrWeather plugin in this screen they can do so manuly ... if you add to MPE1 the then they will lose older basichome ... to say if they wont to use yrWeather as main info on basic home To use this file , if yrWeather second weather plugin and use other plugin in basichome Not to install this file's Only the plugin .

Burr I think you did great job on this plugin, and is work great ,and the plugin rady to be relise as stable....

P.S- you do not need to supply with installer the Backdrops image's.... the code is set in skin most skins have there on set of backdrops and they will point the code ling to ther on .


EDIT: please check the code #yrWeather.selectedLocation.location as i test all the propeties all work o.k ,only that the location did not change all time stey as default , all others selected code did change o.k .

I can confirm the issue with #yrWeather.selectedLocation.location - doesn't change here either.

Did you change something else burr? 'Hour by hour' no longer works for me in aMPed even though all I changed was the new properties. It seems that 'hour by hour' controls no longer support textbox type although By Day controls still do. Unfortunately with larger fonts in aMPed I need two lines for wind and condition values or the scrolling is ridiculous. Is it possible to revert/fix that?

Sure, attached - though you can only use it in aMPed since it relies on styles set in references.xml.

If I change the type from textbox to fadelabel, only for the hour by hour controls, then it works (but looks like crap ). As I said the textbox controls worked fine in the previous release. I only changed the skin properties to use selectedlocation. Otherwise the xml is exactly the same as the previous version that worked fine in the previous version of yrWeather.

i also notest the textbox code not work , so i did not use it for default's skins ...

I do a a check for valid controls in hour by hour, so far it's only label and fadelabel can you tell med all possible text controls
that could be used?

ysmp - Default skins work fine for me because they use only labels/fadelabels - although I do get a fair bit of scrolling on 4x3.

burr - the only other text controls normally used are textbox and textboxscrolllup. AFAIK they are the only options that currently support a multi-line display in MP.
