You shouldn't need to save the line uo in the configuration. I just tried it and get the same error, but the plugin still populates the EPG for me. Make sure you do an auto tune and then the plugin will "see" your channels and assign the data.

Thanks for your help. I did an auto scan when the Wizard first come s up and got all the channels for both boards I have installed. When it use the zao2it plug I do get the proper channels and following you advise I did no tyr and o a save this time. Its also my understand that the chaneels information get "populated" by restarting Media Portal. Whne it restarts I do see a resonalble amount of disk activity for a lon perios of time. I initially assumes it was populating the epg date. However when I go to the TV guide all the channel entries read "no date available". So does something elese need to be done? Thanks

Please Help.

I have spent hours trying to get the Zap2it plugin to work without any success. I have read the instructions and other posts but still it is not working. I will assume being new to MP I am doing something wrong. So here is my understanding of how it should be installed. Please someone help and tell me if I am doing something wrong.

All of the treads say you just have to copy the DLL into the process directory and yes when I do this the plugin become availabe in MP as you can see from the above posts I can enable and configure the plugin. However when I exit setup and run MP no data is copied into the guide. I never get the completed message as per the plugin documentation . When I configure the plugin the auto tune hase already been run on both my cards. One point I am unclear about is when you download the zip flie for this plugin it contains two folders a "process" folder and a 'Source" folder. What is the purpose of the source folder ? Should the two folders be copies to the MP plugin's directory ? If so this directory alread has a process folder (and no I have not copied the DLL to a directory below the process directory). I am assuming that if I copy the zipped files to the plugin directory the process folder will over wright the existing process folder , no? please help, this is really frustrating....... Thanks

I just visited the web site and there is a second Zap2it plugin for download for the 0.2.1.0 version. This worked.

jphhughes,

I ran into this prob. too. However, i read somewhere (on this forum) that once zap2it gathers your list, click 'OK" to close the plugin GUI then come back to your computer in 20-30 minutes and see if it's populated in MP. What i read here was all you need is a bit of patience and time for the plugin to fully work.
BTW, i didnt even have to restart MP to see my list.

Hopefully this helps.
