hi Huha, i installed 1.2.2.4 (and just tried v1.2.2.5 also) on my server (which is running Windows Server 2008 R2) but the plugin shows up as incompatible. Any ideas why this would happen? (like to backup my TvWishList settings since i lost them already a few times...)

unfortunately not, can you post the error message? I cannot debug on 2008 R2. Does anyone else have it running on Windoes Server 2008 R2? Could you run an earlier version?

2012-08-20 14:30:41.663085 [SetupTv(1)]: PluginManager: TvEngine.BackupSettings is incompatible with the current tvserver version and won't be loaded!

That's the only thing showing up in the log. Never used it before and tested last 2 version. It shows up as incompatible and that's about it.
Just installed BackupSettings on my testsystem (win 7) and there is shows up as 'other plugin' (not listed under Process plugins). Not sure if that might be related, since the MP plugin isn't equal to the TV plugin.

HomeY, I can try after my return to change the settings in the assembly file. i was using

[assembly: UsesSubsystem("TVE")]
[assembly: CompatibleVersion("1.1.6.27652", "1.1.6.27652")]


maybe someone has an idea why this is not working. Are you using 1.3 alfa? Does it work with a 1.2 version?

No Rush (since i hope to keep my TvWishList settings for a while now).

Yes, i'm using 1.3Alpha (but GIT version). Haven't tested with 1.2 version, but might be able to do that, but i'll have to install Server 2008 on VM first

Checked and BackUp Settings is working fine on server 2008 R2 + MP v1.2.3

Yep same proble here with 1.3 alpha from Git version on win 7 32, so its compatibility issue with tv server

lukjod, i am sorry, but I am not supporting the new Gitversion yet. But I appreciate your posting. Please let me know when the new git version is stable on the.dll files for the next 1.3 beta release.
