Hi,
I was getting black screen after a minute of inactivity, no hibernating just not touching the remote for a minute. I found this tread and read it.
Then I decided to check out my power saving settings on the computer and I saw that it was using a power scheme called "Intervideo WinDVD" and as I had recently uninstalled this program I thought that was weird. So I chose another scheme. And after that it has worked perfectly.
I tried to change back to the "WinDVD" scheme to test this again but this time it had no effect so I'm not 100% sure that this was what was causing the black screen but I thought it was worth mentioning.
