This hasn't worked for me in ages despite me installing the new version(s).

The config app crashes on startup - I cancel and it opens but crashes as soon as I try to scan a folder.

This is what comes up:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Thank you Trevor - I still have the same issue unfortunately.

See the end of this message for details on invoking

Thanks for your help with this Trevor - much appreciated. Unfortunately no change - still throwing exceptions at me!

I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro, MP 1.9.0 and your latest build.

UPDATE/SOLVED - as I was writing this I tried something else. I usually access the config by going into MP Extension Manager, selecting MVCentral from the list of installed plugins and clicking the config button. Crashes every time. However, I went into the main MP Configuration program, selected Plugins on the main menu, highlighted MVC and clicked config - hey presto, it works! I'd forgotton you could access installed plugins that way too.

Happy times! :) Thank you Trevor.

Hi Steve,

That makes sense, I can now recreate the the error and I will look into it - had never even tried running the config from with the extension installer.

I will look into what the issue is, thanks for bringing to my attention, but at least you can now run the plugin .

Other commitments prevent me from actively working on the plugin but I will keep it up to date with MP releases and try and fix any major problems.

Thnaks
