[fixed] Startup/Resume Delay not executed (1 Viewer)

    If you configure a startup or resume delay MP recognizes and logs the setting, but doesn't wait. In MP 1.3 it worked. I have included a log file from MP 1.3 and from MP 1.4 PR.

    I had the feeling that it isn't working but I saw it once: "Waitng 2 seconds for startup", but MP was frozen at that point xD

    you are right.. I spotted why it's not working. For what ever reason, the 3x recently added / watched for TV series, etc was killing it.. I've removed it for now and it's started working again. I'll have to dig a little deeper as to why it's happened all of a sudden.

    I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

    that really sounds like an authorization issue. do you already have an OpenSubtitlesConfiguration.xml in the programfiles\tean mediaportal\subtitledownloaders folder? there you can fill in your credentials. I'm sure it is documented somewhere...

    maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck? Preferable with as much disabled as possible also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything) maybe other programs competing for resouces?

    Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...
