The problem seems to be linked to locked files. VISTA is worse than XPsp3 or w2ksp4.

All OS have the recording folders locked by TV server, TV client and MP.

If the TV server setuptv is used to close the stream then the files are deleted but not if the client MP side.

I would think the devs should look at the MP client side as it looks like deletion is tried before all handles on all of the folders/files. are released.

MP also has a locked file problem with deleting files that have just been viewed/played from either MyTV or MyVideos.

I am using Unlocker assistant to view the folders/files that are locked with respect to apps.

Especially if e.g. DVB-S or -t are frozen and you have switch of the client .. sooner or later every harddisk is full

A kind of garbage collection (means automatically cleaning up) of the buffer files would be great .. e.g. for cases like client crashes, network failures etc.
