Guys. Thanks for your help. This is taking up too much of my time to solve. So, I am asking that you no longer need to troubleshoot for me as I am totally uninstalling Media Portal from my machine- every last trace. Mepo is working smoothly on my laptop and that just makes this cycle of problems...

Not to be argumentative. Windows 10 destroyed the colour scheme of Media Portal and the recent issues which posted on this forum can be linked to the upgrading to windows 10. Maybe I am just lucky? All jokes aside, I have not been using MePo for five years only to just give up I just clicked...

It's strange because obviously the watchdog allowed me to upload a log, but it also starts Mepo. The Watchdog tool launches Mepo now as welll as enable logs to be zipped.

Ok. what do you do when you fire up Media portal? You usually hit the icon on your taskbar on click on the icon on you start panel............you are then taken through screens which say waiting for start up of tv service, initialising, loading plugins, etc. then you are in media portal...
