Sorry for the delay in replying, however since this is a new system I decided to start from scratch and re-install everything including the OS. The system now appears to be working as it should although many key inputs from the remote are still not being recognized by the input device which...
The key inputs of E and Y had already been entered, I was just showing that. If they were not entered correctly as you say then why do they show up correctly (on the key viewer) when pressed by either the keyboard or the remote. The difference is that with the keyboard MP2 responds, while with...
Here is the screen capture of that log file. It would be interesting to see if it matches the log file. Time wise it will not because the frame rate is different.
I have now done further testing with the MP2-Client you sent. I am sorry to report that it appears to have the same issues.
Thanks again for all your efforts, hopefully you may come up with a solution.
I have only done a very quick test on one function, as I have to go out for a lot of today. That test indicated that it still does not work.

Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks for the update on this issue, hopefully you can make some progress on resolving it. I am quite happy to try anything you may want to test on another system.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have setup the Input Device shortcuts, that is why I know the keys on a keyboard work correctly, as they have been setup in the input device to do. The problem is that on the remote they do nothing no matter how I set the remote up.
On other software like Kodi...
I am having trouble to make my remote control work correctly on MP2. Having upgraded from MP1 to MP2 where the remote using the Flirc USB device, has worked well. It seems anything I enter in the input devices shortcuts on MP2 works as it should using a keyboard, however those entries will not...
