Thanks ajs for your further reply.
So why do you think that is the case?
Does MP1 & MP2 have different people working on them, and it's possibly because the MP2 people have lost interest?
Or: That some or all of the same people, work on both, and for some reason they have prioritised MP1 ?
If...
Hi, Help Please.
I've got several FLAC audio files that play OK on my PC, and my HTPC, via:
Media Player / Windows Media Player / VLC Media Player etc.
But when I play them via the AUDIO folder in my HTPC MP2, I it sounds muffled and thumping.
I’ve found info online for checking the codec's...
I watched a recorded program, (that I thought I'd allready watched previously)
After watching it (for the second time) I tried to delete it, (by clicking delete) but it's still listed, and it still plays.
So this is probaably why its still listed from the first time I watched it.
So how can I...
I've scanned for channels, and got all channels mapped to tuner 0 of my 8 channel TV card (eg: 2 cards of 4 channels each)
Is there a way to copy that selection on tuner 0, to all of the other 7 tuners, or do I have to map each tuner seperatly ?
Many thanks
Thanks for the comment.
Yes, that would be a great help.
But how do you know those links go to documents for MP1?
I cant see anything that suggests that?
Also: At this stage, even if they are about MP1, it my be of general interest, to read that info first.
Many Thanks.
Reading the MP2 Wiki I mentioned earlier, which says...
'The Concept of Media Sources
MP2 uses the concept of distributed media, but centralized information. This means that your media items can be anywhere - on your MP2 Server, on your MP2 Client, on any other computer in your network, on a...
This seems way to complecated then it needs to be!
I thought the whole point of moving the program files from the TV Recordings folder, to the Video Folder, was to reduce the number of files in the TV Recordings folder, to less than 5000 files?
This would then make sure that the main-menu list...
So my MP2 config page doesn't have the 'Video' folder listed, it looks like this image from the wiki...
My TV recordings are in folder E:\TV-Recordings
...so to avoid any confusion with current folders, I used Windows Explorer to...
a: make this test folder: E:\Test-Folder-02
b: then I...
Thanks for the overview:
If possible: I would welcome a detailed example of how you do this?
Is this shown in the MP setup info?
If my .ts TV program recordings are at say: E:\Recording
Could I move my saved recordings to say: E:\Video
or better still, into categories, in sub-folders like...
There are a lot of extra features that I would find very useful.
And I'm sure others would too.
Probably most people dont voice their desires/requirements because:
1: Dont think there suggestions would be welcome.
2: They dont know where or who to make them to.
3: Accept that this is how it is...
Many thanks for the reply.
Using Windows Explorer: I have checked the number of .ts files on this HTPC, which currently totals 5150.
When these were last displayed in the Rec\Program-List there were less than 2000, but this will include Series-Folders that contain several episodes, so I guess...
Hi CyberSimian,
How do you move the programs from the Recordings folder, to the Video's section?
Do you do this via MP1 (if so how) or using Window Explorer?
In the proprietary PVR I used to use:
If I wanted to keep recordings, I could create folder(s) (on the fly) and then move the program to...
Hi Greenhorn7
Your issue may or may not be connected to my issue.
So when your issue is present, perhaps you could try changing your skin from your current WMC skin, to my Nereus skin. Then see if you get the same problem as me.
And if you do, at-least you will be able to play your current...
