The replacement DLL is 64-bit. libmpg123-0.dll is now present. The crash occurs in Yeti.Lame.Lame_encDll.beEncodeChunk. Windows reports System.AccessViolationException and fault code 0xc0000005

Solved with 1.34. Somehow I managed to install part 32 bit and part 64 bit. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled and now DVDs play faultlessly.

I spoke too soon. Still doing it. Get only a featureless grey screen until I reboot the machine, then the DVD plays, so still faulty

Pre-release 1.34 has fixed the problems.
