I've created a couple of custom views that I've been using for a while now. Anyone who wants to use these will have to open their database with a SQLite editor and go to the views table to add them manually.
I call this one "Genre Unwatched" based on the standard Genre view...
Resume please
Hi guys, just love the plug in. Being a long time MP TV Series user, I've been following the development of this one since before day one & I must say that the work that John has done is absolutely outstanding.
For me the one killer for current usage (0.5.5b) is the resume...
If everyone else is getting in on it, then c'mon Aussie c'mon.
6.5% from 20 mil is pretty good compared to the 17.3% from 300 mil Americans. :D
Little man syndrome? :ooops:
Well there's your problem. Not theTVDB, but connectivity to the internet. Are you behind a proxy?
I don't think there is any documented port requirement, but if you have to authenticate to connect to the internet (eg. you're trying to run this at work?) there is potentially a problem that only...
Has it ever worked for you?
My use has been to start it up and wait for the "Internet" and "theTVDB" lights at the bottom left of the screen to go green before I try anything. I only use manual scan, so I drop files into a folder, run it manual against that folder, then copy them manually to...
Well I started a bit or a discussion there, didn't I.
I suggested SQL for the main reason that TVServer uses it, so there was already an installation in the MP environment. Don't really want to install another database back end. If its there, why not use it?
Great ideas. Again, I just...
Hey all, Just wondered if anyone had broached the subject of migrating the data to a SQL database instead of the MP standard db3 file? I searched, but haven't seen any posts talking about this.
With TVServer as a central location for TV viewing (and a SQL server install required for that) and...
In most cases tv.com & thetvdb match up. Natbur does work ok (just used it).
Keep in mind that tvrename displays what it wants to do, but you don't have to rename & Natbur has an undo option, so you can always revert if it is wrong.
I use both - till tvrename is using thetvdb.
OK, I'll give up a little secret, but don't tell anyone.
Try this one - tvrename - Is basically a database and has some really cool extra features (read about torrent renaming). Only problem is he uses TV.com for his source. I have put him on to TheTVDB and he is busy updating the code for...
I know what you're talking about
I have used this app for ages and I know exactly what you are talking about. I narrowed it down to the fact that the app is expecting an immediate response from the net, and if it doesn't get it the app just craps out.
So the options to avoid this...
Part of the problem with Anime is that they are not shown in seasons. There are currently 5 different entries for One Piece on thetvdb and the one mentioned above is probably the best because, for a start, it is complete. Two of the others ("One Piece" & "One Piece (Japan)") are very incomplete...
If you look at Online TV Database - An open directory of television shows for HTPC software and search for "one piece" you will find several variants including one titled "One Piece (All in 1 season)"
So what you have to do is specify in your file name that this series is One Piece (All in 1...
Thanks for the info Inker. There was sort name data from the previous way of getting data.
So, if the sort name field is filled in then it will be used. What happens if there is sort name data in some records but not all. I am thinking that I should just copy the pretty name data across to the...
Hey Tony, Don't know if it is still the case, but when I first started using this plugin I found that the functionality would run through each of the expressions till it got one that worked then moved on to the next file. What I did was insert my custom expression at the top of the list so that...
